1. Bridgehead Centro House Medium V60 4.25 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was excellent. Not a fruity coffee. Has that chocolaty undertone. A slight bitterness takes it away from top marks.
2. Level Ground Andes Medium V60 4.25 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another excellent election. Even more chocolatey than the Bridgehead, but maybe not as ‘clean’. Is a little bit muddy but a good workhorse selection.
3. Dark Horse Easy Goer Decaf Unknown V60 4.25 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So I can drink something after 3pm. its a smooth tasting coffee selection. Not sure the method used to decaffinate…Swiss method hopefully.
4. Longos Roasters Costa Rica Medium V60 4.00 ⭐⭐⭐ This wasn’t as great as the Columbian version. A little heavy. Maybe grind can be a little less strong.
5. Detour Field Blend (Honduras) Medium v60 4.1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A little bit sharp after taste. A little bit fruity for my taste, not the strong chocolate coffee flavour that I like.
6. Longos Roasters Columbia Medium v60 4.0 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ This is my go to, standard daily driver. Has that rich deep chocolate after taste that I always enjoy. Not sure if it’s a five star, but might have to revisit this one.
7. Fernwood Coffee Roasters Fernwood Blend Medium V60 4.0 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Fantastic coffee from BC. Bought on holiday but it really nailed what I was looking for. Better than the local brand that I tried at Friday Harbour.
