It’s a mental game that I am loosing. When I finally realised the path to managing my weight better, I felt this was going to be a linear journey. It’s not panned out like that, having plateaued these last couple of months. I am definitely experiencing hunger in a different way these days, but I have noticed that this has coincided with me falling off a few very specific routines.
- I stopped doing my 5 tibetans every day. I don’t think this was on purpose, but it certainly has to do with the mess in the basement, but that’s just an excuse.
- My water intake has dropped. Again, there is no real excuse for this. Lemon water is an amazing drink and I really need to get back on that again.
- I’ve been introducing a little bit of bread back into my diet, which on its own isn’t the end of the world, but I definitely need to manage this so that it doesn’t become a habit again.
- Lunch is more often than not a salad of some description. Every once in a while I’ll treat myself to a Japanese something something.
- I have noticed that during the winter months, my body is also craving chocolate a little bit more.
- Finally while I have tried to limit my beer intake, I still manage to go through 3-4 cans a week.
But its generally very clear, I am eating about what I need to maintain my weight…except it is far from where I would like to be, so the plan is to put a little bit of extra effort over the coming months. I am still keen to achieve my target towards the end of March, it’s 5 months away and completely achievable.
