Projects & Learning in 2026

Every year I look to the 12 months ahead and make some insanely loft plan of the creative output that I want to achieve. Every year I make some progress, but it does always fall short of those plans. This year I think my plan is to have a set number of things that I want to achieve. I don’t need to achieve any of these, as they are hobbies, but they make me happy and publishing them at least makes it easier for me to focus on things I thought were pretty important for me.

Learning

  • Last year I started working getting through the entire Proko Perspective course.
  • I do want to find a novel writing course. I have ideas and a voice, but I don’t think I am stringing my words in the best way possible. I know I can do better.

Projects

  1. Colours - Chapter #3. I am nearly done writing this chapter. It’s been a much larger chapter than I originally imagined, but it’s nice to have this one done.
  2. Honest - Chapter #1. I want to start another short story. This one is actually a family story so looking forward to bringing it to life in any way.
  3. A Simple Guide to the Construction Industry - Part 2. It’s strange that I am diving into part 2 without having published Part 1 yet, but that’s ok. This book practically writes itself for me and I can’t wait to share it as I think it will benefit a ton of people.
  4. Moon Racket! - I don’t want to spend to much time thinking about scripts and stories for these characters. I don’t mind spending a little bit of time just having fun with these characters and drawing them in weird and wonderful ways.
  5. Illustrations - I think drawing on a regular basis is good for me and something for myself and Zane to bond over. The first three projects will need some illustrations (or at least I want to provide a visual for each of them).
