I like Ben’s 2026 checklist. So here is mine:

  • Wake up at 6am.
  • Do my 5 Tibetans.
  • Have my Greek yogurt and raisins/fruit in the morning.
  • Salad or soup for lunch.
  • Whatever I want for dinner. No fruit juices (except very, very occasionally).
  • Read book/comic every day, even if it’s a few pages.
  • Write 50 words a day. The project doesn’t matter, it’s the practice and habit which I love.
  • Reflect on the day that just went by in my 5 year Hobonichi.
  • Spend an hour with the kids, drawing or a creative project together.
  • Go to bed at 10:30pm.

Ones that I am going to steal from Ben are:

  • Communicate with a friend, even if it’s just a one-line text.
  • Tell the people I love, that I love them.
