The foliage that covered the tree was thick and white as snow. The sea of leaves was only broken by pods of fruit that the tree almost instantly began to bear. Except it wasn’t fruit at all, rather these were cocoons. These small pods nestled growing infants that would leave their slumber once they were ready.
