Been watching the Beckham documentary. Obviously going for the ‘Last Dance’ kind of vibes, however the difference for me is I was living in the UK while all of this was happening and so remember watching some of this stuff unfold.
- I like the camera trick the director used of going close up on the interviewee while they are watching and reacting to what they are watching. At first it felt a bit weird, but then you understand the mechanism they are using and you see more.
- I can absolutely relate to Beckham’s obsessiveness with his cupboard. I don’t have anywhere near his stuff, but the limited stuff that I do have shares his setup…except the angled t-shirts, that was a new, but welcome idea.
- Also picking out your outfits for the entire week…that’s a new one.
